ຂົວມິດຕະພາບ 5 ຈະເລີ່ມລົງມືກໍ່ສ້າງໃນປີ 2020.

ຂົວຂ້າມນ້ຳຂອງມິດຕະພາບ ລາວ-ໄທ ແຫ່ງທີ 5 ປາກຊັນ-ບຶງການ, ແມ່ນຕັ້ງຢູ່ເຂດບ້ານກ້ວຍອຸດົມ, ເມືອງປາກຊັນ ຫ່າງຈາກເທສະບານແຂວງບໍລິຄຳໄຊ ໄປທາງທິດເໜືອຕາມທາງເລກ 13 ໃຕ້ປະມານ 10 ກິໂລແມັດ, ຊຶ່ງຫ່າງຈາກທາງເລກ 13 ໃຕ້ 2.860 ແມັດ. ສໍາລັບຝັ່ງປະເທດໄທຈຸດເລີ່ມຕົ້ນໂຄງການຢູ່ທີ່ຖະໜົນໝາຍເລກ 222 ກິໂລແມັດທີ 123 + 430 ໃນເຂດອໍາເພີບຶງການ ມີລວງຍາວທັງໝົດ 12.038 ແມັດ.

ຂົວມິດຕະພາບ 5 ປາກຊັນ-ບຶງການ ຕາມແຜນເບື້ອງຕົ້ນແມ່ນຈະເລີ່ມກໍ່ສ້າງ ເດືອນ ມີນາ 2019 ແຕ່ດ້ວຍສາເຫດຫຼາຍປະການ ລັດຖະບານຂອງສອງປະເທດຈຶ່ງໄດ້ເລື່ອນການກໍ່ສ້າງອອກໄປເປັນປີ 2020, ສັນຍາລັກ ເສົາກາງນ້ຳ ຂົວມິດຕະພາບ 5 ມີສັນຍາລັກໂດດເດັ່ນດ້ວຍຮູບແຄນລາວ ຊຶ່ງສຽງແຄນເຊື້ອຊາດລາວໄດ້ຖືກຮັບຮອງເປັນມໍລະດົກດ້ານວັດທະນະທໍາ, ນາມມະທໍາຂອງມວນມະນຸດ ໂດຍອົງການອຸຍແນັສໂກ ຮັບຮອງໃນວັນທີ 7 ທັນວາ 2017.

The 5^th Friendship Bridge will begin its construction in 2020.

The 5^th Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge linking Paksan and Bueng Kan is located in Kuayoudom Village, Paksan District, which is approximately 10km away along the road No. 13 north from Bolikhamsay municipality and 2,860m away from the road No. 13 south. In Thailand, the project starts from the road No. 222 at the 123^rd + 430^thkm in Amphoe Bueng Kan with the total distance of 12,038m

Initially, the 5^th Paksan-Bueng Kan Friendship Bridge should have begun its construction since March 2019. Due to a number of problems, both governments decided to postpone the project implementation to 2020. In the middle of the bridge, a cable-stayed tower in a shape of Khaen instrument will be built to support the bridge. Khaen music was inscribed as the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in December 7, 2017.
