ໃນວັນທີ 12 ມີນາ 2019, ສະຖານເອກອັກຄະຣາຊະທູດຍີ່ປຸ່ນ ປະຈໍາ ສປປ ລາວ ໄດ້ຈັດງານລ້ຽງສົ່ງນັກສຶກສາທີ່ເຮືອນພັກທ່ານເອກອັກຄະຣາຊະທູດຍີ່ປຸ່ນ, ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ, ໃຫ້ແກ່ນັກສຶກສາ 16 ຄົນທີ່ຈະໄດ້ໄປສຶກສາຕໍ່ທີ່ປະເທດຍີ່ປຸ່ນພາຍໃຕ້ທຶນລັດຖະບານຍີ່ປຸ່ນ (MEXT: Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan).

On 12 March 2019, the Embassy of Japan held a send-off reception at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence, Vientiane Capital, for 16 Lao students who will travel to Japan to study under the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) scholarship programme.
This fiscal year, 16 students (eight studying master’s degrees, two attending a technical college, and six students enrolled in a specialised training college), who were awarded MEXT scholarships will be warmly welcomed on their arrival in Japan. All of the students have excelled in their previous studies, passed the required examinations conducted by MEXT, and are expected to study in Japan for varying amounts of time depending on their individual courses.
