Previously, technology was used in business to help improving human work performance and effectiveness. Currently, technology has already become another part of human being. What is Alexa?
Alexa is a speaker developed by Amazon Echo which can function just like Siri that users can ask anything and Alexa will answer. Amazon designed Alexa Voice Service (AVS) to imitate the real conversation and you can use this function for a specific request. Alexa is capable of reminding time and other functions as you program. It can wake you up in the morning, help you manage your travel, etc. Whatever you would like to ask, for instance about weather in Vientiane today, this device will give you an answer automatically.
Why use Alexa?
As mentioned above, Alexa operates in resemblance to Siri and Google Assistant. Then why should we buy Alexa? The reason is that Alexa was made by Amazon to store every piece of information available in the world and become a digital library. The device is capable of learning new things which will become a seamless source of data in the future.
What can Alexa do?
As we all know, Alexa is a special and unique voice-command technology that has never existed before and we would like to talk about some of the differences here. Currently, Alexa has a setting option for “routine activity,” such as “Goodnight Alexa” which is capable of turning of lights, locking doors, setting alarm clock and turning on electric kettle for coffee making based on a designated time. If you do not want to wake other people in the same room, Alexa can wake you up by whispering to your ears.
