ຫັດຖະກຳລາວ ມີຫຼາຍຂະແໜງທີ່ສະທ້ອນຄວາມເປັນເອກະລັກຂອງຊາດ ຄົນສະໄໝກ່ອນມີສີໄມ້ລາຍມືໃນການແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ ຢ່າງປານີດສວຍງາມ ດັ່ງເຫັນໄດ້ຈາກຜົນງານແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ປະດັບອາຄານຕາມວັດວາອາຮາມ ແລະ ອື່ນໆ. ການແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ຍັງຄົງເປັນຜົນງານສິນລະປະ ແລະ ສ້າງຊື່ສຽງແກ່ຊາວຊ່າງຫັດຖະກຳ. ໃນໂອກາດນີ້ ພວກເຮົາຈຶ່ງພາທ່ານມາທຳຄວາມຮູ້ຈັກກັບກຸ່ມຫັດຖະກຳແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ຕົວແບບແຫ່ງໜຶ່ງ ຊຶ່ງຕັ້ງຢູ່ບ້ານໄຜ່ລ້ອມ, ເມືອງໄຊທານີ, ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ.
ກຸ່ມຫັດຖະກຳແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ບ້ານໄຜ່ລ້ອມ ໄດ້ຮັບການສ້າງຕັ້ງຢ່າງເປັນທາງການ ໃນເດືອນພຶດສະພາ ປີ 2014 ເພື່ອເຕົ້າໂຮມເອົາບັນດາຊາວຊ່າງຫັດຖະກຳ ເຂົ້າຢູ່ໃນການຈັດຕັ້ງຂອງກຸ່ມ ແລະ ພັດທະນາຜະລິດຕະພັນໃຫ້ມີຄຸນນະພາບ ສາມາດຈຳໜ່າຍຢູ່ພາຍໃນ ແລະ ສົ່ງອອກໄປຕ່າງປະເທດ ປະກອບສ່ວນໃນການອະນຸລັກວັດທະນະທຳດ້ານການແກະສະຫຼັກ ຂອງທ້ອງຖິ່ນ ກໍຄືຂອງຊາດ. ປັດຈຸບັນກຸ່ມນີ້ ມີສະມາຊິກ 11 ຄອບຄົວ (58 ຄົນ) ໂດຍໄດ້ຮັບການສົ່ງເສີມ ແລະ ສ້າງຄວາມເຂັ້ມແຂງຈາກພາກລັດ ເປັນຕົ້ນ ການພັດທະນາສີມືຊາວຊ່າງ ດ້ວຍການເຝິກອົບຮົມການອອກແບບຜະລິດຕະພັນ, ເຕັກນິກການແກະສະຫຼັກໄມ້ທີ່ໄດ້ມາດຕະຖານ, ການນຳໃຊ້ວັດຖຸດິບສິ່ງເສດເຫຼືອມາຜະລິດເປັນເຄື່ອງທີ່ລະນຶກ ເປັນການສ້າງມູນຄ່າເພີ່ມ ແລະ ນຳໃຊ້ວັດຖຸດິບໄມ້ໃຫ້ເກີດປະໂຫຍດສູງສຸດ. ນອກນີ້ ຍັງມີການເຝິກອົບຮົມກ່ຽວກັບການເຂົ້າຫາແຫຼ່ງທຶນ ແລະ ການຕະຫຼາດນຳອີກ.

Lao handicraft consists of many sectors that reflect the national identity. People in the past possessed a unique sculpture skill as it can be seen through their exquisite carving works appeared in temples and so on. Wood sculpture is considered an art form that builds fame for sculptors. Taking this opportunity, we would like to introduce you to a role-model group of sculpture in Phailorm Village, Saysettha District, Vientiane.
Sculpture group of Phailorm Village was officially established in May 2014 to gather and organize all craftsmen into a certain group to collectively develop quality products which could be sold domestically and internationally. The group was also founded to preserve the local as well as national cultural heritage in terms of sculpture. Currently, members, comprise 11 families (58 people), have been promoted and supported by the government through countless trainings on product design, standard sculpture techniques and the making of souvenirs from wastes so that people know how to add value to goods and make maximum use of materials. Furthermore, there have been trainings on how to access financial sources and markets.
