Enterprises can access financial sources by mobilizing fund via two channels: financial and capital market. In that, financial market refers to a financial source in the form of a short-term loan with high liquidity and a repayment period of not over one year. Key players in the financial market include commercial banks and financial institutes. On the other hand, capital market is a long-term financial source for both the public and private sector where stocks are made public to offer to financial institutes, major investors, both local and foreign public observant. In this article, the writer would like to discuss about an access to a long-term financial source via a capital market i.e. stock market and will specifically focus on the fund mobilization via ordinary share offering.
