For this end-of-2019 issue, we would like to discuss about outstanding achievements and attempts of the government in implementing the socio-economic development plan in 2019 reported by Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, to the 8th Ordinary Session of the 8th Legislature of the National Assembly on November 7, 2019. Please allow us to share some of the highlights of the report with you as below:
Outstanding achievements and attempts of the government
Despite difficulties in implementing the development plan, the government has been putting their maximum efforts in achieving focused tasks as stipulated in the socio-economic development plan with an aim to achieve targets approved by the National Assembly based on its resolution No. 099/NA (28/11/18) and No. 01/NA (07/06/19).
Throughout the practical implementation during the past 9 months, I would like to present to you some outcomes as following:
