The Glassdoor website helps to find jobs in a given line of work in the United States (US) and in 2018, matched up 50 top jobs in the US and found that the data scientist came first, is a job which attracted over 1,700 positions, and for which there was the greatest market demand, bringing in salaries of up to USD 110,000 annually. At the University of New York, this subject area received more master’s degree applicants than 2014.
For those working in this field, some may wonder what the work is all about because they may be unaware that this job exists. We have to go back to the meaning of the words ‘big data’ as large quantities of data, which thanks to technology today, we are able to compile.
