Ten startups selected by Google for the Demo Day Expo

What with today’s growing technological modernization, many businesspeople, who used to operate normally in the past, are now increasingly turning their interest towards startups, especially in developed countries, where there is much competition in the building of startups to transform our world while businesspeople in developing countries are looking around for suitable startups to use in the development of their respective countries. Laos is no different and businesspeople are people are analyzing the market to determine what would work in our country. Today, Target magazine is therefore introducing the ten world-changing startups selected by Google to take part in the Demo Day Asia expo, which started in September in Shanghai, China. Let’s take a look at what’s new and could be suitable for our country:

1. OneStockHome (Thailand) is an e-commerce platform for selecting and purchasing raw materials which connects builders, sellers, and buyers while avoiding unnecessary expenses for warehouses free of cost without having to pay for goods transportation and without charging an agent’s fee, operating under the slogan “Transforming the hassle of finding raw materials into something easy which can be done with the touch of the fingertip”. You can buy quality raw materials you need more easily without charge because their website is connected up to large companies so customers can choose and compare goods with the click of a mouse.
2. DycodeX (Indonesia) is the latest product from SMARTernak, a developer of the Internet of Things (IoT), and is designed to help raise livestock. This technology changes all kinds of things, one of which is to change the way livestock is raised in developed countries, such as in the United States and Europe. It is a means of raising livestock using a smart farm, which can be achieved using IoT technology to allow farmers to monitor the health and movements of their animals, being able to pinpoint the their location at all times.
3. Freight Exchange (Australia) is an online platform for logistical services which operates by selling spare space to importers, especially logistics companies, which can advertise their truck and receive transportation fees. For example, logistics companies in Savannakhet transport products and goods to the capital but then have to drive back with an empty truck whereas if they use this app, the vehicle owner will be able to earn money transporting goods and products from Vientiane Capital on their return journey back to Savannakhet. The membership, advertising, and posting fees are cheap too.
4. GITAI (Japan) is an expert at building robots which can help humans conduct scientific experiments in space and communicate with humans better, faster, and in greater detail than anything seen before.

Anyone can search for the name of a doctor and read about their details and experience along with information about the hospital or clinic using this app, especially doctors which specialize in your disease. You can also read about each doctor’s opinions and you can search for other doctors’ opinions concerning your disease. In short, you do not have to waste time lining up and waiting for health checks any longer – you can just use this app and your will be able to choose your doctor and arrange a time and a place all by yourself. If, for example, you live a long way away from a hospital, prior to wasting time traveling out and waiting in line without even knowing whether there is the right kind of specialist available to treat you, all of this can be sorted out in advance in you have the Marham app.
6. Miotech (China) is a fintech startup, which has been developing software which uses artificial intelligence (AI) for companies to obtain financial advice. It can make difficult and complex accounts data simpler while also being able to interpret and provide in-depth information. Miotech is set to be the most cutting-edge financial solution in today’s world.
7. Origami Labs or ORLL (Hong Kong) manufactures smart rings which allow people to listen to written messages without having to take out their phone simply by wearing one of these rings. When you want to use it in combination with your smartphone but cannot be bothered to fiddle about getting your phone out but want to talk on it, you just touch you ear with your finger and select the mode for receiving calls and you can talk over the phone. In addition, you can easily listen to voice messages and access your meeting schedule.
8. SigTuple (India) allows automated AI-based healthcare screening and has blood analysis solutions which use automated equipment. It can also detect bacteria and viruses, such as malaria, anemia, and so forth using images taken by a mobile phone which has a micro camera installed. It then uses its smart technology to provide advice using this app. SigTuple is well suited to areas where there is a lack of specialists for various diseases and is especially suited to our country because at present, if you want to see a credible specialist, you have to go overseas or wait for the doctor to travel to you and it can take a long time before they arrive.

 

1. Sky Magic (Singapore): produces drone swarming technology for live entertainment and traffic management systems. They are tiny airplanes which can be used indoors or outdoors and operate autonomously each with a super bright red-green-blue (RGB) pixel and controlled via a single ground station. They can also take three-dimensional (3D) photos during both day and night and photo sharpness and clarity is guaranteed.
2. Swingvy (Republic of Korea) searches for human resources for businesses. This app makes business administration, human resource management, and salary payments easy and acts as the ideal human resources department. Its autonomous salary payment system works by interfacing with our work. You no longer need a huge company to respond conveniently to your staff and importantly, you can access and monitor each employee using this app.
